You know about that one virus that, you know, put us in a lockdown and prevented us from going and touching that beautiful grass outside your window, right? Well, I am about to tell you about my experience (without getting covid winky face) with COVID and how it affected me. So let’s start at the beginning, when it first happened. Basically I was in grade 9 in my first year of high school about to experience it for the first time as the oldest of three. Yeah, covid said no thanks, not today, you will experience it towards the END of your high school career. So I’m not going to talk about that since online was a complete mess (you’ve experienced it don’t lie), so instead, I’ll talk about what I did. Before you say, “Sean, what do you mean you did something, there was nothing to do!”, There was, and it started with a PlayStation friend request from my cousin. So pretty much, there was nothing to do (goddammit) and so we decided on playing the popular game at the time, Fortnite (cringe nowadays) and of course, other games too because we weren’t THAT addicted to Fortnite, and decided we dedicate every day for a few hours to play with each other because we weren’t assigned anything from school, and we’ve never experienced a lockdown before, keep in mind, I’m 15 at the time. But since my parents noticed us being on the games too long, they would sometimes turn off the internet to get our attention and tell us to go on occasional walks here and there during the pandemic since they opened it up to let us go outside instead of rotting in our homes all day, 24/7. Also, you may be wondering, why is the title of this blog, no covid edition? Well, to tell you in short, me and none of my parents and brothers got covid throughout the entire pandemic from 2020 to 2022 (insert yippee thingy) and it stays that way because I’m triple vaccinated baby! AIN’T NO COVID GETTING INTO MY SYSTEM! Ok, that’s enough, I’m done. You’ve seen what I did, it ain’t much, it’s tired, I’m late, I need sleep (it’s 1:14 am as of writing this). Stay tuned for more!
