I will say Titanic is my favourite all time movie. It was first released in 1997 and re-mastered in 2023 when I had the pleasure to watching. Titanic was directed by James Cameron, partly based on the RMS Titanic shipwrecked in 1912.
For those who prefer romantic and/or disaster categories of film, Titanic is one not to miss. The cast in the lead roles were two young but attractive actors, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. They portrayed the poor but talented boy “Jack”, and an elegant young lady “Rose” well, good fit for romantic stories.
Titanic did not disappoint me as a disaster film fan. While nervously seeing the freezing water flow in and RMS Titanic was to sink, I saw the beauty and dark side of human beings. It may be boring if only historical facts covered without some fictionalized elements. It is meaningless if no reminder or encouragement is delivered when facing a disaster. I particularly like the theme song and music being played intermittently; they surely enhanced the general atmosphere. Two scenes had touched me most: when Jack made Rose promise to survive and live her life to the fullest, and when Rose could keep this promise till she died. It is impossible for us to keep away from disasters or pandemics which are getting so common, but we have the freedom to choose L-O-V-E, no matter what. As the Bible says, love never fails! Whoever is kind-hearted must not skip watching Titanic.
