I went to the zoo over the study break and I would totally recommend the trip to anyone who has the time. I think fall is the best time to go as the weather is cooler and the colours on the trees are absolutely gorgeous, however the zoo is open year round rain or shine. I went on the first Sunday of the study break and the weather was unusual warm but neither the animals weren’t complaining (I was, there’s a lot of walking and it was really warm). I’m a huge animal lover and a hobby photographer so I took an insane amount of photos. My first and honestly the only stop I absolutely needed to see before I left was the gorillas. Unfortunately I learned today that after 50 long beautiful years at the Toronto zoo Charles the gorilla has passed away due to heart failure. He lived a great life, with the average lifespan of his species is 30-40 he got more time than most. Okay enough with the sad news here is a collection of way too may animals I took photos of at the zoo, we stayed for basically the entire time the zoo was open so we got to see plenty of cute creatures.
