The winter break is upon us. What does that mean? It means that I have somehow mysteriously stumbled upon a box full of news puzzles. My mom about two years bought a lot of puzzles because we were in a puzzle phase. Last night I was with my mom getting something form the basement when I came across a puzzle box and I brought it upstairs. The main reason I brought it upstairs was for the second classes end on Wednesday and I get home I am opening the box up and making the puzzle. If anyone is trying to contact me throughout the break just expect to not hear from me for a while after you message me because I will be puzzling. If you do get a response it would probably be because I spent too much time staring at the puzzle that I got a headache or I needed a break because that happens sometimes. Besides physical puzzles, I will also be back into the word search and other mental puzzles along those lines to keep my brain somewhat active over the break. Honestly, the puzzle plan will probably last a week or so before I start getting massive headaches and I force myself to stop doing them for a while. As long as I take proper breaks, eat right and stay hydrated I should be ok for a week. Key word should. I have a lot of patience for things like puzzles and all that but I lose patience when someone tries to help when their help was not asked for.
I have an update. Since I have not posted it yet I had a day where I decided “lets start the puzzle journey” and let me say, bad idea. The first puzzle I opened was one where its not all square shaped pieces which was ok and it took about 5 hours for 500 pieces and that was with breaks. My issue is that the next puzzle I decided to do after with my mom is not great, it is normal shaped pieces. However, it is one of the puzzled where the pieces are all very similar in colour and the pieces fit almost all into one another so its an event doing that one.
I am very much open to anything else I can do over break and I will openly take ideas of what I should do over my break. Message me on Instagram @catherine_talks (linked on my page) or comment below my post here what I should do for winter break.
