This is Blog 10, the first series of blogs that I’ve written in my life. For Chinese, the number “10” stands for perfect. While I don’t think there’s perfect in the human world, it doesn’t mean that we should not try our best to do whatever we need to.
When 2024 is coming to an end soon, I’d like to make a review in my last blog for the year.
For me, it’s not an easy path to walk on after resuming to full-time study life. As a non-domestic student who knows little about Canada and nothing about the broadcasting field, I need to put in more efforts to catch up everything here. In brief, 2024 has been a year that my schedules are 80% filled with meeting deadlines of the various assignments. The 20% left is for church and fellowship, and other gatherings. By the time my task as one of the Board Operators in the radio live show next Wednesday is completed, all my assignments are formally done for this semester. 😊 Then, I can enjoy a relaxing term break before my last semester at Seneca.
I must thank all my professors for their patience and guidance throughout the Winter and Fall terms of 2024. Of course, there’re the heartfelt support and encouragement from my dear family and friends. Yet, without my Lord Jesus, I won’t be able to be here and went through the 3 tough semesters so far. I’m not sure what will happen to the world and me in 2025. Will I be writing more blogs? Will I be an announcer? Will I be alive, who knows? For sure, I will keep on trying to live a quality and meaningful life.
In closing, I am glad to share the assurance of God through Psalms 121:1-5: “I lift up my eyes to the hills – from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.”
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
