Vito Santaguida, the devilishly handsome, and multi-talented young prodigy, had his humble beginnings by growing up in the small town that is Vaughan, Ontario. The last male-heir of the Santaguida family grew up with many interests in life, but his favourite of all was watching movies. Thus, he decided to pursue his passion to be an actor by joining the Regional Arts Program at St. Elizabeth high school. After four years of dance numbers and seriously unflattering costumes, Vito decided that memorizing 72 pages of dialogue and performing on a stage required the one thing he despised the most, work. And so, he sidelined his passion and began his journey to achieve his dream of working in the radio industry at none other than York University as a film student. During his time there, he spent his four years fighting through the wrath of fire-breathing professors and mountain dwelling students. After his graduation, he would finally get his big break in life where he would reach Seneca Polytechnic as a radio student. Now, in his final year at Seneca, Vito is optimistic towards his future in the radio industry, because God knows he won’t be able to survive another year in retail.
Black Friday: The Aftermath (A.K.A. Vito and his PTSD)
I haven't had a Black Friday off in 6 years. I wouldn't even know what to do on that day if I wasn't working. I genuinely think a black hole would open in the universe if I wasn't working on Black Friday. It's funny in a way, for each black Friday for the last 6 years, I've worked at a different store. With the experie...

If it ain't broke, hit it with a hammer
I've been lucky enough for the past year and a half to be able to drive my father's car. It comes with its own set of challenges and responsibilities, but I truly treat that car as if its my own. I drive a 2011 black Honda Civic, which I call Marisa, after the actress Marisa Tomei, don't ask me why it's just fitting. I...

The Italian Waiting Room
The more of these I write, the more of a fly on the wall I become when I'm out in public. Get comfortable, grab a drink or some snacks, because this is going to be a long one. Last week, I went to my family doctor for my routine physical (I'm doing well thank you for asking). My doctor is located in Woodbridge, which i...

November 1st: The gates of Hell have opened once again
"And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts. And I looked and behold, a pale horse. And his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with him" - Johnny Cash Well, Halloween was a couple of days ago (as of the day that I'm writing this), and as much as I love this holiday, I hate what comes n...
