Vito Santaguida Picture

Vito Santaguida, the devilishly handsome, and multi-talented young prodigy, had his humble beginnings by growing up in the small town that is Vaughan, Ontario. The last male-heir of the Santaguida family grew up with many interests in life, but his favourite of all was watching movies. Thus, he decided to pursue his passion to be an actor by joining the Regional Arts Program at St. Elizabeth high school. After four years of dance numbers and seriously unflattering costumes, Vito decided that memorizing 72 pages of dialogue and performing on a stage required the one thing he despised the most, work. And so, he sidelined his passion and began his journey to achieve his dream of working in the radio industry at none other than York University as a film student. During his time there, he spent his four years fighting through the wrath of fire-breathing professors and mountain dwelling students. After his graduation, he would finally get his big break in life where he would reach Seneca Polytechnic as a radio student. Now, in his final year at Seneca, Vito is optimistic towards his future in the radio industry, because God knows he won’t be able to survive another year in retail.

I'm writing this on 6 hours of sleep and a throbbing headache so you'll have to bear with me here. Ah, yes, another retail story. I'm starting to realize that my pain brings happiness to others so when life gives you lemons... I'll start this off by reminding everyone that I've been in retail for 7 years. 7 long years...

Alright, you saw the title, you know what kind of post this is going to be. Let me start off by saying this, when I'm at a movie theatre, I like to rest my legs on top of empty seats. To paint a picture for you, the back of my legs are the only part that lays on the top of the theatre seats, my shoes never touch the to...

I think it's fine to tell this story now that my store closed down. For legal reasons, and slightly paranoid reasons, I won't mention the name of the store just as a precaution. Once upon a time I was a manager at a retail store. I took the position serious, most of the time. I'd say I was a serious manager 95% of the ...
